A boutique Victorian restoration in the heart of Battersea.
Sitting on the corner of St. John’s Road just minutes from Clapham Junction Station, a former Victorian store in Battersea has been refurbished into eleven affordable apartments. Its history alone is a quirky enough selling point but in this neck of the woods its also about location.
It was essential to communicate both the prime location and the heritage of the building, with its retained features and contemporary specification.
Inspiration stemmed from historical advertising of the former Victorian store itself, with influences such as 19th Century paper marbling techniques being used to cement the historical ties in the brand.
